Testing the blog site prior to setting off on our big adventure! it’s been beautiful weather the last two days so it’s a bit frustrating to be sat here! We have to wait for the engine to be serviced and fitting of the on deck radio. Have been getting a few jobs done though! Yesterday we let off the old life raft ( as it was getting to the point of needing annual servicing) . Actually a very useful exercise…. all sorts of bits inside that I had no idea about such as a rainwater collection tube that you can drink from! Other jobs ticked off, filling the fuel tank with diesel from the can and replacing it.We polished the cockpit and all the chrome so she is shiny and ready to go! J downloaded updates for my plotter. Alice and I did the washing and despite a “ count the socks “ warning ….. still lost a pink one… presumed eaten. That’s enough for a test run. Looking forward to having you along! Think you can still watch our route progression on vessel finder website, but I’ll need to check that too.
What I learned today…… It’s a good idea to notice that last year you stuffed paper towel into the bottom of the petrol funnel…. before trying to fill up the tank…. bit slow 😬

Polished and ready
