Woke up to bright sunshine. Julian got up quite early to go ashore in the dinghy before the crowds were about. The scene was lovely, early morning sun shining on the pretty village houses with the distinctive clock tower in the middle. It really is a beautiful spot. The wind was still offshore do Julian rowed back rather than using the motor. We then enjoyed a peaceful day in the sunshine doing nothing much. Julian read his newspaper cover to cover, I did a bit of sunbathing on the foredeck. And we ( even me) went swimming off the boat as it was really really hot! I watched the Ladies finals using iplayer and the hotspot as the tv wouldn’t work here. We watched the world go by.. boats toing and froing. People enjoying themselves. It was SO crowded on the beaches though, we definitely made the right choice to stay on the boat. 😎
What I learned today….. that It was actually lovely swimming off the boat!
