Sunday 29 May. Arbroath.

Clouds but a little watery sunshine, so at least inside the cockpit it does feel a little warmer due to the greenhouse effect. We went shopping to Lidl as we were having visitors today. šŸ¤— It was lovely to see Bill, a good pal from BSAVA days, who lives in Edinburgh. We chatted over coffee and pastries before Bill and J went off to the town in search of camping gaz 907. To no avail! It seems there is another national shortage, and Everyone is blaming camper vans again. When they got back empty handed we had a buffet salad lunch.. all sitting up in the warm cockpit tent. We even got the posh table out! I googled camping gaz in ā€œ my areaā€ which gave Halfords just outside Arbroath as having them in stock. I didn’t phone as you just get through to a central number. So off they went again, and back they came again empty handed šŸ™. Oh well. Thanks Bill for coming to see us and all your efforts! Later on I had a zoom chat with my vet friends whilst Julian went off to find Ginsters pasties from Morrison’s…… our favourite en passage food. Nice quiet evening… now we have our data quota sorted we can watch I player so started the new series of silent witness. šŸ‘

What I learned today….. not a lot… how deceiving google can be? But that’s nothing new…
