A sunny day .. what a treat. Not even a cold wind. We spent the morning trying to sort out the funny noise that the water pump has been making over the last few days. This meant emptying the entire locker of its numerous contents and then climbing in. So far it’s not solved, despite various suggestions. ☹️ Then an afternoon of walking and taking in the beautiful views . The weather was so beautiful…. still a breeze blowing but a friendly one. We even saw people doing proper surfing in the Atlantic. You may be able to see tiny black specs on the photo. A lovely evening sunset with the typical Orkney windmill!
What (Julian) learned today….. when using the hose to fill up the water tanks…..don’t be tempted to start washing the windows that haven’t been closed ☹️
