I’m not going to write much but will post the pictures of our lovely day. I’m a little ( understatement) nervous of the next 48 hours till we arrive in Stromness, Orkney.
Today dawned bright and sunny transforming Kinlochbervie into a magical place. We noticed that the main pontoon was completely empty so decided to go on over after breakfast. Once moored we noticed all the electricity points had padlocks on them ☹️ . Julian went to see the HM but he wouldn’t be back till Monday apparently . Anyway we discovered that some had padlocks that didn’t actually padlock anything together 🤗. Happy days! We then set to to replace the worn clevis pin which holds the bin to the mast. Bit of a palava ( as my mother would have said) ! …. but we did it thanks to very calm conditions, and a lot of patience. Once that was done we went for a wonderful walk the other way .., ie following loch Inchard inland. The pictures show what we found!
