A lovely day doing chores. Alice and l went to farm foods whilst Julian endeavoured to fix the clevis pin situation.!! Fortunately there was no wind , so He could put the main sail up to take some weight off the boom and Eventually he was pleased with the result …..but we have ordered a new one to be delivered to Lochinver ! Alice then got sent up the mast to retrieve the bit of string holding on our saltire ( Scottish flag penant) which had got snapped somehow. We also took the washing to the “magical “ mandarin laundry. Magical because they turn 11 kg of crumpled smelly washing into 2 bags of sweet smelling warm dry and folded laundry. Bliss!. After that I cleaned the boat inside whilst Al and Julian went to Tesco’s and Aldi to get everything else on the list . Eventually with all the chores done we had showers got ready to go out! Very excited! The meal we had at Piazza on the front at Oban, was wonderful . Typical Italian comfort food … delicious!
What I learned today.. not quite sure🤔…. maybe how much I like someone else doing my laundry for me !?!?
