A very wet night! Not particularly windy but one of those Scottish days when it is just dreak! I was glad we had decided to move as it was near enough the marina to pop over in the dinghy. We’d already decided to have a day staying put and planning our next week or so trip. Between showers we managed a trip ashore.. I had a shower and amazingly had remembered to take pound coins and 20 p for the hair dryer even… just forgot my shampoo.☹️ As the day went on many more boats came to pick up moorings probably to get out of the weather, but interestingly there were only a few boats on the pontoons. We decided to go and anchor at the head of the Loch in the early evening, near the castle which was actually lovely and peaceful and good muddy holding!
What I learned today…… carex hand wash works very well as a substitute for shampoo!
