First night spent in the forepeak cabin was fabulous! I always sleep well on the boat on the comfy comfy memory foam mattress! The electrician arrived as promised at 730 and sweated away trying to solve all our issues for a couple of hours. Sadly he couldn’t give Trixi (our windmill) a new switch…… something to do with her Bluetooth connection????? Which means she is permanently ON ! That’ll be very noisy whenever we have the next storm! I then got up and went to the supermarket again and bought sausage rolls and Cornish pasties for lunch . On my return J tells me his laptop won’t switch on…. not a flicker and trying old tricks to fix haven’t worked 😩. The family joined us after their breakfast and we set sail. Everyone very excited…. at least for a while! We sailed out into the bay in light winds and sunshine and the kids all had a go at steering. Had lunch bobbin around as we couldn’t get the anchor remote to work…. but eventually as ever J got it going. We got the dinghy and motor off and Jenny Alby and Isla enjoyed whizzing around on s very calm sea! Returned quite late to marina and Jenny and the children went for a swim on the beach while we put Angelique to bed. Rob bought wonderful fish and chips which we are on deck in the evening sunshine ☀️ lovely! Thank you!
What I learned today ..
Always be grateful for what’s working today, as it may not be tomorrow
