The internet connection is poor so I’m unable to post any pictures atm. Goodness knows if we’ll have any over the next few days so will just do my best! After a peaceful start to the night the forecast wind arrived and it’s been blowing ever since. Relentless noise of the wind is tiring And wish it would now go away! Lazy day though which is nice. First thing was to have a lovely FaceTime with Isla our grandaughter who is 8 today!Cooked breakfast followed by trip to the shops. I realised yesterday that my wet weather bottoms allowed me to become decidedly damp despite being goretex. I have had them about 10 years so maybe just wear and tear. I managed to buy some waterproof over trousers from the chandlery here which I hope will help until I can replace mine.
