What a wonderful day! A rest day was needed! We woke to bright sunshine blazing through the smart curtains ( thanks Carol!) Julian got up first and went to take some early morning shots on his posh camera – the results are already on. The day did cloud up a bit but warm and lovely nonetheless. Went to the spa and bought some fresh stuff after a well deserved lie in with tea, followed by bacon and eggs. Yum. We then set off to have a fantastic walk around the Ardglass golf course which is a links course with fanatstic views. Fortunately Julian is a golfer so understood which way to walk and how to not get into trouble with players on the course. The golf course club house was built on the site of Ardglass castle which dates back to 1405. There are 3 bits left and big plaque on wall saying the clubhouse is the oldest golf course clubhouse in the WORLD!

Saw amazing thing – massive grey seal just cruising around the marina, never seen one close up before, just like a dog begging! apparently the fisherman give them fish so basically just like dog learning to be rewarded. I have pic …. will post. Their pentadactyl limbs are amazing.

Julian did some jobs whilst I had a lovely zoom chat with my vet friends and now hes watching the grand prix whilst im cooking my fresh food! chicken and spuds, mange tout and brocoli! No scurvy here!

Btw my husband says my spelling is atrocious – please except my apologies. Will add pics if I can. May need to add from phone later.

What I’ve learnt today:

Saw and learnt how to identify black headed gull which was pottering around on the shore.

Watch out for pics in due course : )
