Left Shrewsbury in sunshine after saying bye to all at no 28. arrived in good time and nice weather. Wales looked lovely and completely different from the grey of last week. Alice drove us there as we will be coming back from Scotland. She and Julian put the sails on while I did the Asda shop for fresh stuff. Good timing as they’d nearly done by the time I got back! A lot of other people on the pontoon enjoying the sunshine with socially distanced glasses of wine! First day of freedom to stay in second homes generally in Wales. After doing lots more jobs we sat down to quiche and salad on our lovely new tablecloth! Al and I played scrabble whilst J read the Sunday times…. funny remembering all the years we spent here . Happy days.
