Saturday July 11

We’ll at last be setting off tomorrow, for Pwlhelli. Wales has decided that from today people can visit their second homes and that covers boats! Last Tuesday despite the awful weather, we maanged to get all of the stuff on board. The sails are not attached yet and the deck needs scrubbing with borocol to get rid of the green algae. Plus a load of other jobs too boring too mention! Anyway Alice on her way form Liverpool atm to transport us tomorrow and the house sitters, Lucy and Jamie are arriving 1100 tomorrow. I will miss Molly so much! And the cats of course. Special mention to Dad who I know is very interested in reading this and following our progress to Scotland – his favourite place.

For anyone who is interested you can follow our track by logging our boat details into

websites Marine traffic or Vessel finder. just put in name ” Angelique” she is a UK sailing vessel ( there may be the odd fishing boat or tanker with the same name, which could be misleading) or the MMSI number 235017375 It works off our automatic identification system so will only work when that is switched on.
